Hi David, I have good news if you’re still looking for the best garlic press. I’d been using a model which looks similar to the one you showed for years but usually opt for chopping by hand because it’s just easier. Then I watched a woman from somewhere in Eastern Europe on YouTube making various delicious looking recipes with cabbage, potatoes, onions and either cheese or tomatoes. They all had garlic and she used a type of garlic press I’d never seen and I wanted one but couldn’t see a brand. She made no reference to it. I found several that looked just like it on Amazon. The one I purchased was the Vantic garlic press rocker for under $10 and have never looked back. I’d include a link if I knew how but I hope you check it out. There are several similar brands. Can do multiple cloves serially and it’s super easy to clean. Best of luck in your search for the right tool! And I loved your interview with Yotem! Been a fan of both of you for a long time. Warm best, Laura S.
This conversation totally made my day. You two are so knowledgeable, fun and witty. I'm looking forward to the recipes you shared. You should team up for a regular show!
I too was smiles the whole video. I enjoyed the discussion and you made my day. Love you both. I can't wait to see your chocolate book David!! It can't come out soon enough!
You guys were hilarious and my mouth was watering over those scrumptious treats. Thank you so much for this…it was an unexpected delight. I also picked up a copy of Ottolenghi's Simple…just in time for my brunch next Tuesday!
David, such a lovely video. I smiled and laughed a lot. The back and forth was just adorable. Highly annoying also described my feelings about your living in France. Here I am, a Parisian who now lives in upstate New York! I liked it when you said that French people don’t lie. I recently had surgery on my face and my American friends said: oh you look fine, your beauty is on the inside and that’s more important, etc. My French friends said: oh wow, it does look pretty bad 😵💫🥴. Question, since I live in the States, where do those towels that you raved about come from? What is the brand? Thanks, David. Always enjoyable to watch you live and Yotam Ottolenghi is adorable ☺️
Yes, they did a good job organizing them. The plan is to organize more and they've asked for more people to participate since there are so many interesting voices in the food world. And with the new Live feature anyone can organize their own for their readers. I hope to do more, too!
I REALLY Enjoyed this video! It was fun , entertaining and I laughed so much!
The almond croissants and a spinach/feta omelette looked so scrumptious!
You two have such good conversation and comradery !
Merci ! Debbie E.

What a lot of fuss about garlic presses and all the wrong ones. Just go and buy a Zyliss press. It's the best by far.
Thank you for sharing your work and your home kitchens. So delightful and sweet.
Put a smile on my face throughout the video.

What a fantastic conversation!! I love both of you so much :D
That was super fun! Thank you for that. The block of feta in the middle of the frittata blew my mind.
i know...right?!
Send us all bowls and that pepper mill! And blocks and blocks of feta!
Possibly your all time best! It was fun and informative.

Sam’s Club has them too, in the restaurant wares section. Also, any restaurant supply store will have them.
Not sure of the brand but George got them at Costco - someone chimed in and said they were in the auto department (!)
Thank you, David.
You two were having so much fun! I really enjoyed watching this and I’m definitely interested in making both recipes!
What a great chat. Just loved he banter - you two are brilliant.
That was blast to watch. So fun! I've really enjoyed these Grubstack lives. I hope they do them again next year.
